The problems&#xD; refer to the main idea, specific information, generic structure, meaning of the words and the inference in narrative text. The objectives of this research were to find out if there is significant effect on students&#x2019; reading comprehension of narrative text taught by using Circle Triangle Square Strategy and taught without using Circle Triangle Square&#xD; Strategy at State Junior High School 01 Kampar, Kampar Regency. The design of this&#xD; research was Quasi Experiment by using pre-test and post-test. The population of this&#xD; research was the eighth grade students. The total number of population was 312&#xD; students. Since the number of population was large, the writer used cluster random&#xD; sampling by selecting two classes as a sample group; VIII B consisted of 31 students as an experiment class, and VIII A consisted of 31 students as a control class, so the total number of the sample from two classes was 62 students. In collecting the data, the writer used test the form of multiple choice. To analyze the data, the writer used independent sample t test by using SPSS 16. After analyzing the data, the writer found that there was a significant effect of using Circle Triangle Square Strategy on students&#x2019; reading comprehension at Junior High School 01 Kampar, Kampar Regency, where T-table showed 6.389 at significance level of 5%, it showed 2.00, and at level of 1% it showed 2.65. Thus, null hipotesis (Ho) was rejected, and alternative hipotesis (Ha) was accepted which showed 2.00 &#x2264; 6.389 &#x2265; 2.65.
