  • This research aimed at knowing the increase of student learning achievement on Mathematics subject through the implementation of Problem Posing type of Pre-Solution Posing learning model at the fifth grade of State Elementary School 006 Tanjung Bungo, Kampa District, Kampar Regency. It was instigated by the low of student learning achievement that could not pass the minimum standard of passing grade determined 75. This research was a Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research were the teachers and students, and the objects were the implementation of Problem Posing type of PreSolution Posing learning model and learning achievement. This research was conducted for two cycles, and every cycle comprised two meetings. Observation, test, and documentation were the techniques of collecting the data. The techniques of analyzing the data were Descriptive analysis and Percentage. Based on the research findings and data analyses, it showed that the implementation of Problem Posing type of Pre-Solution Posing learning model could increase student learning achievement. It could be known from student learning achievement that the mean was 67.32 with 46.42% classical mastery before the action, and it was on “less” category. After doing the improvement action in the first cycle, there was an increase of student learning achievement that the mean was 74.82 with 67.85% classical mastery, and it was on “enough” category. In the second cycle, there was an increase of student learning achievement that the mean was 80.35 with 85.72% classical mastery, and it was on “perfect” category. Thus, it could be concluded that the implementation of Problem Posing type of Pre-Solution Posing learning model could increase student learning achievement at the fifth grade of State Elementary School 006 Tanjung Bungo, Kampa District, Kampar Regency.
