  • This research discussed about the correlation between Extraversion and Introversion and English learning achievement of eleventh grade students at Senior High School 1 Tembilahan, Indragiri Hilir. There were three formulations of the problem, they were: (1) How is the students’ personality of the eleventh grade students at Senior High School 1 Tembilahan, (2) How is the students’ English learning achievement of the eleventh grade students at Senior High School 1 Tembilahan, and (3) Is there any significant correlation between extraversion and introversion personality and English learning achievement of the eleventh grade students at Senior High School 1 Tembilahan. This research was a correlational research. The researcher used questionnaire distributed to the 51 students to be the respondents and documented data of students’ score from the English teachers. The collected data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation coefficient and analyzed by using SPSS 16.0 program. Pearson Product Moment Correlation Technique was used in order to measure the correlation between the two variables which quantified the strength as well as direction of the correlation. Based on the data analysis, it showed that sig.t = .009. It was smaller than 0.05 (sig.≤ 0.05). It is concluded that, the null Hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative Hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, in other words, there is a significant correlation between Extraversion and Introversion personality and English learning achievement of eleventh grade students at Senior High School 1 Tembilahan, Indragiri Hilir.
