- This research was designed as descriptive qualitative research; the objective of this research is to find out the attempts of principal on the welfare of administrative staff at state Madrasah Tsanawiyyah Dalu-Dalu the regency of Rokan Hulu and to find out both0supported factor and inhabitant factor of it. The subject of this research is the attempts of principal on the welfare of administrative staff at state Madrasah Tsanawiyyah Dalu-Dalu the regency of Rokan Hulu. The data in this research are collected using direct observation on the location of research and interview. The data are analyzed using descriptive qualitative method and indicate that the attempts of principal on the welfare of administrative staff at state Madrasah Tsanawiyyah Dalu-Dalu the regency of Rokan Hulu such as motivating the administrative staff to continue their study in higher level of education. Besides, the supported factor is the availability of facilities and inhabitant factors is the low of education level of administrative staff and the lack of their comprehension on administration.
