The results showedthat (1) drought stressonthe reproductive phasecaused a decrease number ofseeds, dry weight of seed,cob, root and stemand(2) droughttolerantsomaclonalvarianthave higherprolineaccumulationthansensitive variantsomaclonal, but there is nocorrelationbetweendroughttolerancesomaclonalvariantplantswitha totalsugaraccumulation.
