- Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil's existence is the best and most strategic and functional approach to empowering small and medium businesses, Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil is relatively more agile and flexible because it is more with street vendors or middle-low society. Through Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil, the poor and small traders will be released from the bondage of the usury system (interest) and transfer it to the Islamic economic system with a profit sharing system. Departing from these problems, this research aims to find out how the role of Baitul Maal Wa Tamwil Amanah Ummah to develop micro businesses. This study uses a qualitative method by analyzing cases. From this research describe as a whole as well as systematically about the role of Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil in the framework of empowering micro businesses.
