- AbstrakMenghadapi tindakan operasi sectio caesarea dapat menimbulkan kecemasan pada ibu hamil, kecemasanyang berlebihan dapat memepengaruhi kelancaran rencana operasi dari persalinan. Tujuan dari penelitianini untuk mengetahui hubungan status paritas dengan kecemasan pada ibu pre operasi Sectio Caesarea diRumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Palembang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptik analitik,analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat dengan rancangan cross sectional .Tehnikpengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling yaitu sebanyak 60 sampel. Penelitian inidilaksanakan di RS.Muhammadiyah Palembang pada bulan September-Oktober 2017. Hasil analisisdengan uji chi square diperoleh nilai p value = 0,001 (< 0,05) , sehingga dapat disimpulkan H0 di tolakdan H1 diterima, berarti ada hubungan antara status paritas dengan kecemasan ibu pre operasi sectioncaesarea dalam menghadapi persalinan. Untuk itulah pentingnya memberikan konseling dan motivasipada pasien pre operasi section caesarea dalam penurunan kecemasan bagi pasien dalam menghadapioperasi sectio caesarea.Kata Kunci: Kecemasan, section caesarea, paritasAbstractFacing Sectio Caesarea surgery can cause anxiety in pregnant women, excessive anxiety can affect thesmooth operation of the birth plan. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of paratystatus with anxiety in preoperative mothers of caesarean section in muhammadiyah hospital Palembang.This tipe of research is analytic descriptive research, data analysis is done univariately and bivariatewith a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling as many as 60 samples.This research was conducted at Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang in September – October 2017. Theresults of the analysis with the chi-square testobtained p-value = 0,001 ( <0,05), so it can be concludedthat H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning there is a relationship between parity status withmaternal anxiety pre-Caesarea section surgery in the face of labor. For this reason the importanceofproviding counseling and motivation in patients with pre-Caesarea section surgery in reducing anxietyfor patients in the face of caesarean section surgery.Keyword: anxiety, caesarean section, parity
