- AbstrakChronic Kidney Disease (CKD) merupakan penyakit yang banyak diderita oleh penduduk di dunia,jumlah penderitanya di beberapa negara terus mengalami peningkatan. Pasien CKD yang berada padatahap penyakit ginjal tahap akhir harus menjalani terapi hemodialisis. Kondisi pasien dengan hemodialisisakan memicu perubahan sosial yang akan berdampak pada kualitas hidup pasien. Kualitas hidup pasiengagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani terapi hemodialisis masih merupakan masalah yang menarik perhatianpara profesional kesehatan. Selain itu persoalan penting sebagai dampak dari hemodialisis salah satunyaadalah permasalahan spiritual. Pasien yang memiliki spiritualitas yang baik, hal ini dapat membantupasien mencapai dan mempertahankan perasaan kesejahteraan spiritual, sembuh dari penyakit, danmenghadapi kematian dengan tenang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan spiritualitasterhadap kualitas pasien CKD yang menjalani hemodialisis. Desain penelitian cross sectional. Penelitiandilaksanakan di Rumah Sakit Pusri Palembang pada tanggal 28 Desember 2018 sampai dengan 01 Januari2019. Sampel penelitian yaitu pasien CKD yang menjalani hemodialisis dengan jumlah 59 orang. Teknikpengambilan sampel total sampling. Hasil analisis distribusi frekuensi berdasarkan spiritualitasdidapatkan sebagian besar spiritualitas kurang terpenuhi sebanyak 34 orang (57,6%), distribusi frekuensiberdasarkan kualitas hidup didapatkan sebagian besar memiliki kualitas hidup kurang baik sebanyak 32orang (54,2%). Hasil uji statistik dengan menggunakan uji chi square didapatkan p value = 0,032, hal inimenunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara spiritualitas dengan kualitas hidup pasien CKD yangmenjalani hemodialisis. Diharapkan pasien CKD dapat memenuhi spiritualitas dan meningkatkan kualitashidupnya sehingga dapat membantu penyembuhan fisik dan mental.Kata kunci: Spiritualitas, Kualitas Hidup, Chronic Kidney Disease, HemodialisisAbstractChronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a disease that affects many people in the world, the number of sufferersin several countries continues to increase. The condition of patients with hemodialysis will trigger socialchanges that will have an impact on the quality of life of patients. The quality of life of patients withchronic kidney failure undergoing hemodialysis therapy is still a problem that attracts the attention ofhealth professionals. In addition, important issues as a result of hemodialysis, one of which is a spiritualproblem. Patients who have good spirituality, this can help patients achieve and maintain feelings ofspiritual well-being, recover from illness, and face death calmly. The purpose of this study was todetermine the relationship of spirituality and quality of CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis. Crosssectional research design. The study was conducted at the Pusri Hospital Palembang on December 28,2018 until January 1, 2019. The study sample was CKD patients who underwent hemodialysis with a totalof 59 people. Total sampling technique. The results of the analysis of frequency distribution based onspirituality found that most of the spirituality was not fulfilled as many as 34 people (57.6%), thefrequency distribution based on quality of life found that most of the people had poor quality of life(32.2%). Statistical test results using the chi square test obtained p value = 0.032, this shows that there isa relationship between spirituality with the quality of life of CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis.
