Keyword: Roleplay, Pronunciation Pronunciation is the important pat of speaking. With good pronunciation someone can give information to other by well when they speak. But there are some problems when some one want to study about role-play for example is teachers are not aware of the importance of pronunciation.In this case there are some methods to teach pronunciation, for example using role-play strategy. Using role-play in teaching pronunciation will have many advantages, students will be more creative and active in the class and they are will practicing their confident also their elements of speaking when doing role-play The Statements of research problem were: 1.) “How is the student pronunciation skill before being taught by role-play strategy of first grade at MAN 2 Tulungagung?” 2.)”How is the students pronunciation skill after being taught by role-play strategy of the first grade at MAN 2 Tulungagung?” 3.)”Is there are any different in students pronunciation skill after and before being taught by role-play strategy?” Based on the research problem above, the objective of this research: 1.) “To know the students pronunciation skill before being taught by role-play strategy” 2.)"To know the students pronunciation ability after being taught by role-play strategy” 3.) To know weather there significance different in students pronunciation skill using Role-play strategy” This study used pre-experimental design with quantitative research approach and used in One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Firstly students will given pre-test before the experimental treatment. After treatment was finished, the posttest was administering. The data analysis of this research using T-test. Based on pretest the researcher find the score before students give role-play strategy is low because mean of total score of 43 students is 36.0318. But after students give treatment has significantly increase with the mean of total score is 60.2273. the result of t-count=25.35 and the value of “t” on the t score table 0.05=2.021. it was know that t-count is higher that t-table.
