- The research is entitled An Analysis of Subtitling Strategies Used in Nightcrawler Movie. This study is aimed to find out the subtitle strategies found in every scene of the movie that has been translated in Nightcrawler movie through English subtitles into Indonesian subtitles, then classify them into ten subtitling strategies. The unit of analysis of this research is every utterance which has one subtitling strategy and is classified into ten subtitling strategies found in Nightcrawler movie subtitles. The Source Language is English, and the Target Language is Indonesian as the data to be analyzed. This research used a descriptive quantitative method because the researcher counted the frequency of subtitle strategies and describes the kinds of subtitle strategies in Nightcrawler movie.
