yang menyebabkan remaja putri memutuskan untuk menikah dini serta untuk
mengetahui gambaran coping stress pada remaja yang menikah dini. Penelitian ini
menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui
wawancara dan observasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah dua orang dengan
kriteria remaja putri yang menikah pada usia 16-19 tahun dan tinggal di Kabupaten
Bekasi. Uji keabsahan data atau triangulasi data menggunakan triangulasi sumber
atau data.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latar belakang subjek menikah dini
adalah karena pendidikan rendah serta pengaruh lingkungan sekitar. Stressor utama
kedua subjek adalah masalah ekonomi. Stressor lainnya adalah masalah
pengasuhan anak serta perubahan peran dalam keluarga. Bentuk strategi coping
stress yang digunakan adalah gabungan problem focused coping dan emotion
focused coping.

The study of this research is to find out the background that causes
adolescents to decide to get early marriage and to know the description of coping
stress in adolescents who marry early. This study uses qualitative methods with
data collection methods through interviews and observations. Subjects in this study
amounted to two people with the criteria of young women who married at the age
of 16-19 years and lived in Bekasi. Test the validity of data or triangulation of data
using source or data triangulation.
The results showed that the background of the subject of early marriage was
due to low education and the influence of the surrounding environment. The main
stressors of both subjects are economic problems. Other stressors are parenting
problems and role change in the family. The form of stress coping strategy used is
