  • This study aims to obtain in-depth information regarding Personal Development learning socializing for students grade 4 in mild mental retardation 3 Kemayoran SLBN. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Collecting data using interviews, observation and documentation collection. Analysis of experimental data using the model of Miles and Hubberman, ie the data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Data source is the observation of students in grade 4, interview concurrently homeroom teacher Self Development, the principal interviews and examination of documents. The collected data were then analyzed with data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicate that the Self-Learning Development in socializing has not been implemented optimally because the teacher doesnt’make planning study made in such a way, as well as the implementation only intensify students' learning in the classroom. The learning method used to play a role with peers, lectures and demonstrations. The conclusion is learning Development Self SocializingIn yet optimally. Should have intensified learning inside and outside the classroom by the book teacher teaching materials.
