- Abstrak : Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu produk model pembelajaran passing bola basket dengan pendekatan bermain pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama dan menguji efektivitas produk tersebut. Rancangan penelitian ini mengacu pada model penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dari Borg and Gall. Secara garis besar langkah-langkah pengembangan untuk keperluan penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 4 tahap, yaitu: penelitian pendahuluan, perencanaan pengembangan model, validasi evaluasi revisi model, dan implementasi model. Uji efektivitas model menggunakan instrumen passing bola basket dengan menggunakan uji t berbentuk one group pretest-postest design. Hasil uji efektivitasnya adalah 6.83 saat dilakukan pre test meningkat menjadi 10.25 setelah dilakukan post test, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 28.06%. Dari hasil analisa data terbukti bahwa terjadi peningkatan dari hasil pre test dan post test baik siswa yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki maupun perempuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terbukti secara empiris bahwa hasil produk yang berupa model pembelajaran passing bola basket dengan pendekatan bermain pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama memiliki efektivitas yang sangat baik dan bisa diimplementasikan. Kata Kunci: pengembangan, model, pembelajaran, passing, basket, bermain Abstract : This reaserch aims to develop a product of basketball passing model with playing approach on junior high school students. The method which used in this study is a research and develompment methods using development reaserch model by Borg and Gall. The steps are: 1) preliminary assessment, 2) planning the development of the model, validation, evaluation, 3) revision of the model and 4) implementation of the model. In order to test the effectiveness of the model is used an instrument test of basketball. The validation of instrument test using assesment by expert judgement. To view the results of the effectiveness of the model used statistical test by using t-test formula, one group pretest-posttest design. The result of the effectiveness test is 6.83 when the pre test increased to 10.25 during the post test, an increase of 28.06%. From the results of data analysis proved that there is an increase of the results of pre test and post test both students of male and female. Based on the test results of this research, empirically proven that the product results in the form of learning model of basketball passing with playing approach on junior high school students have a very good effectiveness and can be implemented.
