The purpose of this research is to find out and describe the process of making talatoit made by Hardoni Sitohang.
Research methods in carrying out research, the method used for this research is a qualitative research method with an approach with a descriptive type in conducting research. Data collection techniques through observation in the field, open interviews, literature study and documentation. Data analysis techniques include grouping data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions then tested with triangulation of data sources that is cross check of observations, interviews, documentation and validity of interview data with informants and experts. 
Research results of the research are the process of making talatoite, must understand the criteria of bamboo which is quite old, characterized by its dense fibers and shiny yellow interior. Hardoni Sitohang revived talatoit by incorporating modern elements into the tradition. These traditional artists make tuning, and produce E5 tones. Talatoit frequency researchers measured by RTA (Real Time Analizer).
