Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 109 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data kemampuan siswa dalam menulis puisi. Tes yang diberikan dalam bentuk esai/isian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan analisis statistik deskriptif yang mendeskripsikan hasil Kemampuan Menulis Puisi berdasarkan vidio emotif . Berdasarkan uraian hasil analisis data statistik deskriptif nilai tertinggi yang diperoleh siswa ditinjau dari struktur pembangun puisi adalah
96 dan nilai terendah diperoleh 50 dengan nilai rata-rata 74,09. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas X SMA 1 PSKD cukup mampu menulis puisi berdasarkan video emotif.

This research is an action research that aims to describe the ability to write poetry based
on an emotive emotive video excitement strategy of class X SMA 1 PSKD. The population of this study is 151 students spread into 5 classes. Sampling was done using simple random sampling technique with a sample size of 109 students. The instrument used was a test used to obtain data on students' ability to write poetry. Tests are given in the form of essays. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis which describes the results of Poetry Writing Ability based on emotive videos. Based on the description of the results of the analysis of descriptive statistical data the highest value obtained by students in terms of the structure of poetry builders is 96 and the lowest value obtained is 50 with an average value of 74.09. Thus, it can be concluded that the tenth- grade students of PSKD 1 High School are quite capable of writing poetry based on emotive videos.
