Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah remaja berusia 11 hingga 20 tahun. Sampel penelitian menggunakan sampel terpakai dengan jumlah responden adalah 160 orang remaja. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) dari teori Gross dan skala Interpersonal Support Evaluation List (ISEL) dari teori Cohen dan Hoberman untuk dukungan sosial. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis manova. Hasil analisis manova adalah p > 0,05 pada regulasi emosi dimensi surpression dan reapprasial yang mengindikasikan tidak terdapat adanya hubungan antara tingkat dukungan sosial terhadap strategi regulasi emosi reapprasial maupun surpression secara bersamaan.


This study aims to look at the effect of social support on emotional regulation in adolescents. This research approach is a quantitative approach. The population in this study were teenagers aged 11 to 20 years. The study sample used a sample with 160 respondents as respondents. The instruments used in this study were the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) scale from Gross theory and the Interpersonal Support Evaluation List (ISEL) scale from Cohen's and Hoberman's theories for social support. Data analysis method uses manova analysis.
