Tiga perumusan masalah dan satu hipotesis telah dibuat untuk menentukan arah dari penelitian ini. Pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode ex post facto digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sampel terdiri dari 378 orang yang berusia 10 sampai 24 tahun dengan teknik purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini adalah Prosocial Behavior Scale (PBS) (rel: 0.98; α: 0.90) dan Friendship Quality Questionnaire (FQQ) (rel: 0.99; α: 0,86). Hasil penelitian diuji dengan menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana linear. Data yang didapatkan bahwa terjadi pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara kualitas persahabatan terhadap perilaku prososial pada remaja dan variabel kualitas persahabatan berkontribusi sebesar 28,4% terhadap perilaku prososial.



The study investigated The Effect of Friendship Quality on Prosocial Behavior in Adolescent. Three research question and one hypotheses guided the study. Quantitative approachment and ex post facto were used at this study. A sample of 378 people with the range of age 10 to 24 had been choosen by purposive sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection were Prosocial Behavior Scale (PBS) (rel: 0.98; α: 0.90) and Friendship Quality Questionnaire (FQQ) (rel: 0.99; α: 0,86). The results were estimated with Linear Simple Regression.
