Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R) dan Connor Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC). Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 340 mahasiswa bidikmisi UNJ angkatan 2016, 2017, 2018, dan 2019. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Analisis statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah analisis regresi linier dengan menggunakan program SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara optimisme terhadap resiliensi pada mahasiswa bidikmisi UNJ. Besar pengaruh yang dihasilkan optimisme terhadap resiliensi adalah sebesar 26,4%.


This research aims to find the effect of optimism on the resilience of bidikmisi students at State University of Jakarta. This research uses a quantitative approach. The data were collected using the instruments of Life Orientation Test-Revised (LOT-R) and Connor Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC). This research was conducted on 340 bidikmisi students class of 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The statistical analysis used to test the hypothesis is a linear regression analysis using the SPSS 25 program. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant effect between optimism on resilience in bidikmisi students of UNJ.
