- The title of this study is The Anxiety Reaction to The Main Character in the Novel of Ayah, Mengapa Aku Berbeda written by Agnes Davonar. The problem that was observed in this study is the anxiety reaction of the main character. This study purpose to describethe anxiety reaction in the main character based on three reactions those are Emotional Reaction, Cognitive Reaction, and Psysical Reaction. The method that was used descriptive analytical method. The data resources in this study is the Novel Ayah, Mengapa AkuBerbeda written by Agnes Davonar that was published by Inandra/Intibook Publishing. The data was analyzed using qualitative analitycal technicue. The result of this study is showed any anxiety reactions to the main character based on three anxiety reactions those are emotional reaction, cognitive reaction, and psysical reaction. The anxiety reaction in the main character describe that is the worry could be included to everyone. But, the anxietyhas to be handled to encourage succes such as what had happened to the main character that was deaf and she finally achieved her wish to concentrate in music especially piano.
