- Legend is a type of folklore which has relationship with history or pedigree of a place in the past. Besides, legend is also known at Nusantara community that spreads in the form of group which is called cycle. It is a group of story tellingabout a person or event. Banjar people called it as the legend of Datu that has miracle working or honor. A study about the legend of Datu is interesting among Banjar people, it is considered more representative to be the data. Besides, in the legend of Datu there are also lots of miracle working or honor and supernatural power. This study uses descriptive-analitic method. The result shows that the legend of Datu which becomes the data of analysis has miracle working and supernatural power aspect.
