- This study aims to describe the forms and processes of symbolic violence that occurred in Lasi in the novel Bekisar Merah by Ahmad Tohari. Symbolic violence experienced by Lasi is a form of symbolic violence that occurs in gender and race that forms the dominance of Lasi. The method used in this research is descriptive with data in the form of words, namely quotations. The results showed that the habitus of Lasi is formed from what is taught environmentally and socially. Habitus Lasi that nrima cause a person who is very susceptible to symbolic violence experienced Lasi symbolic violence based on gender, race, and also dehumanization caused Lasi as sososk dominated.
