  • This thesis discusses the use of mind mapping methods in learning the history of Islamic culture class VIII in the Islamic Elementary School of Private Asan Islamiyah Sipin Jambi. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether the application of the mind mapping method can improve learning outcomes of Islamic Cultural History in the class VIII Ayyubid dynasty material at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Asas Islamiyah Sipin Jambi. This study uses a class action approach (CAR), with the aim of improving student learning outcomes in Islamic Cultural History subjects with the Mind Mapping method. The results of the study concluded that the results of observations of student learning activities carried out in the first silus reached 51.25% and in the second cycle increased to 92%. and in line with student learning outcomes in the first cycle 48.53% and the second cycle increased to 82.3% with a good category. The increase that occurred indicates the achievement of indicators of success.
