  • This research aimed at finding out the impact of the effect of dictogloss technique on students’ listening comprehension at Eleventh Grade MAS Al-Ihsaniyah Muaro Jambi. This research is a quantitative study using the posttest only control design. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling. The subjects of this study were students of class XII1 as an experimental class and XII2 class as the control class. Data collection is done by test technique. The results of this study get an average experimental class score of 74,67 and a standard deviation of 11,18 while the control class average is 62,5 and the standard deviation is 9,96. Then from the data the t test is obtained t_obtained =2,99 at the significance level of 5% obtained t_(table )= 2,05 and at 1% significance level a significant level of 1% t_(table )= 2,77 thus 2,05 < 2,99 > 2.77. So that 〖 H〗_(a ) is accepted, and H0 is rejected. This means that there is an influence between the application of the effect of dictogloss technique on students’ listening comprehension at eleventh grade MAS Al-Ihsaniyah Muaro Jambi.
