- Behaviour is a huge influence on human life. Sometime a person's behavior reflects his personal life. One form of behavior experienced by humans is deviant behaviors. In this thesis the writer discusses the deviant behavior of the main characters as seen in Sidney Sheldon's Novel If Tomorrow Comes. The purpose of this study is (1) to explain main character's deviant behaviorism the novel if Tomorrow Comes; (2) To find out the factors that cause the deviant behaviors of the main character in the Novel If Tomorrow Comes; (3) to find out the impact of main character will have toward the other regarding deviant behaviors. The writer uses Kartono's theory of social pathology and the psychological approach to support this thesis. To support the analysis, the writer uses qualitative descriptive methods to describe and analyze data. The findings of this research shows that the deviant behaviors experienced by the main character Tracy Whitney is committing robbery, theft, fraud, and attempted murder. All these deviant behaviors arise because they are based on a factor of revenge for the death of his mother, environmental influences, association, and economic pressure. So that it can be influence of the main character 's life toward himself who feels his life is not comfortable, becomes a fugitive from the police, ostracized by the community , haunted by anxiety and feels guilty. In addition to influencing his life, it also affects the lives of others .
