  • The aim of this research was to investigate classroom management applied by English teacher at tenth grade student Senior High School 1 Taseplin Bungo. This research used descriptive qualitative research method and the technique of collecting data were observation, interview and documentation. The result of this research indicate that English teacher can manage the classroom well. As for the information of data that has been obtained through observation and interview that is about the initial process carried out by the teacher is preparing a Learning Implementation Plan (RRP). Based on observation the teacher has manage the class well so that students get involved the learning process in an orderly manner and safe. The researcher observed the process of classroom management by the teacher. The teacher implemented the important activities in classroom management. The first activity is managing the setting position such as clean the room and clean the whiteboard. The second activity is having a good interactions with the students. The learning method applied by the teacher was effective. The third activity is creating a conducive atmosphere and building positive things in the form of praise for students who can answer questions and provide motivation to learn better. The last activity is applying rules to discipline to the students such as not making noise, not arriving late, and doing the tasks that have been given. The result of this research show that classroom management divided into two main activities ( Setting facility arrangement and all teacher’s strategies in the claaroom). Based on this research, it is expective to be useful for the next researcher and the teacher.
