  • The sample was 40 students. 20 students for experimental group and 20 students for control group. The experimental group was taught by using Jigsaw Technique. The instrument for collecting data was 25 items of multiple choice tests. It given in pre-test and pos-test. The result of Paired sample t-test showed that H0 was rejected because the t-test (t0) was higher than t-table (tt) or ,it means that there was a significant effect giving treatment. the result of independent sample t-test showed that H0 was rejected because the t-test (t0) was higher than t-table (tt) or ≥ 2.02. It means that there was a significant difference the students who were taught by using jigsaw technique in teaching reading comprehension and those who were not.
