- The title of this study is “An Analysis of the Hegemony in the Selected Song Lyric Disrupt Band”. This study describes the analysis of the hegemony which are found in Disrupt Band lyrics song. The approach of this study is qualitative research. This study used the theory from Gramci (1971). The result of this study shows that the story describes the hegemony based on the lyric song. This study revealed the hegemony in the lyric song happen because of racial, economics, slavery, ethnics, religion etc. Key words: Hegemony, racism, slavery, Economic, ethnics.
