Daftar Isi:
- This study analysed the anxiety found in Black Swan film. The approach of this study was qualitative research. This study used the theory from Hall (1954) and Cloninger (1993). From the data analysis, it was found that there are three types of anxiety in film. They are reality anxiety, neurotic anxiety and moral anxiety. Reality anxiety drove the character to face the real feeling of the reality. Neurotic anxiety forced the character to face the hallusination. Moral anxiety kept the character to be a wise creature. These anxieties influences the character in the film. The anxieties appear in the character because of negative thinking. The character has some bad feeling about her reality and dream, for example: afraid of being beaten, afraid of unreal story, afraid of getting old, etc. Those anxieties change her behaviour. Key words: Anxiety, reality, neurotic, moral.
