- The aim of this study was to analyze figurative language in the song lyrics of Air Supply. The five selected of Air Supply’s song lyrics were used as the data sources. The songs are “Even The nights are better”, “Young Love” “Strong”, Two Less Lonely People In The World”, “I Can Wait Forever” and “Making Love Out Of Nothing At All”. In this study, the writer applied the descriptive qualitative method and used the theory of figurative language Rozakis (1995). From 29 data used in this study, there are 5 types of Figurative Language found in this study namely; Personification, Metaphor, Simile, Hyperbole and Irony. The dominant figurative language found is Personification which is commonly used as representing feelings of human being. Keywords: Figurative Language, Song Lyric, Air Supply
