- This study deals with student programs on English vocabulary before and after being taught through flashcards. The purpose of this study is to explain the teaching and learning process of improving the vocabulary to the kindergarten school students B Sweet Butterfly Montessori. The data collected from the author is by way of observation in kindergarten. The study was conducted in kindergarten class B which has 19 students. The writer used qualitative methods to describe the observation results that have done for observing teaching and learning vocabulary in kindergarten through Communicative Language teaching method. Interesting materials that made by the teacher to present the vocabulary related to the lesson topic. They are animals, vegetables, transportation, occupation, and part of a body. Flashcard is very useful in students understanding about English vocabulary materials. and make students more interesting in learning.
