- The aim of this study was to analyze about the characterization of The Main Character in “Snow White and The Huntsman” film directed by Rupert Sanders and also to find out the feminist movements that is represented in this film. The result of this study is about the characterization of the main character in “Snow White and The Huntsman” film. This study discussed about the struggle of the princess to face her bad step mother to retake her father’s power. This study applied qualitative method, the analysis of the study used the feminism theory by Rosemarie Tong (2009). Snow White is a princess who struggles and against to retake her father’s power that was killed by her stepmother (Queen Ravenna). Her stepmother is an extremely beautiful witch. In this case, her struggle represents kind of the feminist movements in characterizations namely feminism in decision-making, feminism in strength and feminism in leadership.
