  • The aim of this study is to design English syllabus for Frontliner Service Staff in PT. Indosurya Simpan Pinjam Cipta. This study reflects the English for specific Purpose that meet the professional need in job setting. The study introduces a need analysis, the outline of syllabus, the materials of the syllabus, and the methodology of the syllabus. Need analysis was conducted to find out the problems that staff face in using English skill in their job setting. Interview was conducted toward staff and manager. The writer also distributed questionnaires to get the information about the company and what the learners need. As a guidance to design the syllabus, the writer adopts Hutchinson and Water theory. The outline of the syllabus describes the objectives of the course which becomesthe goals for staff in improving their in English skills. This study also provides the suitable materials to support the activities in the course. To apply this syllabus, Communication Language Teaching is used to support the teacher in learning process. As a result, this syllabus can be applied for Frontliner Service Staff in Englishfor Occupational Course (EOP) context. Keywords: Syllabus, Course, Need Analysis, Methodology.
