This study was conducted to see what kind of common pleco in Ciliwung river area of South Jakarta based on morphometric and meristic characters. Fifty samples were observed. Morphometric characters measured were 27 and meristic characters measured were 9. Results of Principle Component Analysis (PCA) based on morphometric and meristic characters measurement showed there is no significant difference between samples. All samples can be regarded as the same type.
