- Diabetes Mellitus is a group of metabolic diseases with characteristics of hyperglycemia that occurs due to abnormalities in insulin secretion due to interference with the function of the pancreas or due to the work of insulin that have abnormalities. Factors that cause the rise of blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus hospitalized in Badung Mangusada District Hospital one of them is the Macro Nutrition Admission and obedience in the diet. This study aims to describe the level of acceptance of feeding patients who affect blood glucose levels. The type of this study was observational, with cross sectional design. The sample size is determined by purposive sampling, with the technique of taking consecutive sampling. The number of samples used is 20 samples lasting for 1 month. The result obtained from this research is good energy acceptance level has percentage 70,0%, protein with percentage 60,0%, fat with percentage 60,0%, carbohydrate with percentage 55,0%. For the blood glucose level 2 JPP obtained results with good category with a percentage of 45.0%. For the distribution of blood glucose 2 JPP based on the acceptance level of energy with good category with percentage 88,9%, distribution of blood glucose 2 JPP based on protein acceptance level with percentage 55,6%, distribution of blood glucose 2 JPP based on fat acceptance level with percentage 77.8%, and the distribution of blood glucose levels of 2 JPP based on the carbohydrate acceptance rate with a percentage of 55.6%. The conclusion of this study is the level of acceptance of macro nutrients and blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus classified as either category.
