  • DESCRIPTION OF TOOH BRUSHING BEHAVIOR AND OHI-S VALUE IN EMPLOYEES OF PT. RAMA INDONESIA IN DENPASAR BALI YEAR 2018 ABSTRACT Dental and oral health is influenced by several factors, one of which is regular brushing. In the city of Denpasar, there are as many as 15.6% of the population who have problems in the teeth and mouth, and residents who have teeth and mouth problems is 20.9% are employees with age range 20-45 years. The average length of daily activity that is disturbed due to dental and mouth problems in employees is 4 days. These data suggest that employee dental behavior in maintaining oral health is low. This research is descriptive research which aims to explain tooth brushing behavior and OHI-S value to PT. Rama Indonesia Year 2018. This study uses a total population of 30 people. The data collected in the form of primary and secondary data. The results showed that employees who behavior brushing teeth with very good criteria as many as eight employees (26,7%), good criteria as many as five employees (16,6%), enough criteria as many as nine employees (30,0%), the criteria need guidance as many as eight people (26,7%). OHI-S score with good criteria as many as seven employees (23,3%), moderate criteria as many as 20 employees (66,7%), and bad criteria as many as three employees (10,0%). Average OHI-S values owned by employees of PT. Rama Indonesia Year 2018 is 2.08 with medium criterion. Description of brushing tooth behavior is in sufficient criteria and the OHI-S employee's score on medium criteria. Employees of PT. Rama Indonesia in Denpasar Bali is expected to be able to improve self-motivation, especially to maintain oral hygiene by reading dental health articles or get counseling about oral health.
