  • The vegetarian diet has a lower risk of coronary heart disease and stroke of 70-80%, but the vegetarian diet has some nutritional deficiencies such as protein, iron. The purpose of this study to determine the level of consumption and nutritional status of vegetarian adoles cents. The type of this research is observational research with cross sectional approach. The level of nutrient consumption of vegetarian adolescents was obtained from interview with 24 hours recall method with 2x24 hour replication, while nutritional status by weighing weight using scales and measuring height using microtoice. The data has been collected and then made a cross table. Results of data from 48 adolescents found that the nutritional status of vegetarian adolescents 75,0% normal nutritional status, Consumption Protein teens 77,1% level of consumption deficit, teens Feet 83,3% teens consumption level is less, and the level of zinc consumption 85,4% Less Consumption Rates. It is expected that parents and adolescents to pay more attention to the consumption of protein, fe, and zinc in need by the body by choosing food to be more diverse, and the amount of vegetable side dishes to be in accordance with the needs.
