- In Indonesia, the incidence of hyperuricemia in the community is estimated to be between 2.3-17.6%. The purpose of this study to determine the picture of purine consumption, nutritional status and uric acid levels in workers. The type of this research is observational research with cross sectional approach. Purine consumption data was collected using 1x24 hour recall, nutritional status was determined by body mass index from weight weighing and height measurement, while measurement of uric acid level was performed using multi check parameter tool. The data has been collected and then made a cross table. Results of data from 76 samples found that most had normal nutritional status (80.3%), purine consumption of the sample was mostly low (64.5%), and uric acid levels were mostly normal (81.5%). The results of cross-tabulation analysis found that most of the samples with normal nutritional status were also known to have normal uric acid levels (85.7%) and most of the low purine samples were also known to have normal uric acid (79.1%).It is expected that the clay roofers in the village of pejaten can choose the good food according to the purine content table.
