  • ABSTRACT Chronic renal failure is a state of the decline in kidney function occurs gradually and irreversibly with the number of patients is increasing every year, where the response requires while the form of dialysis therapy. Chronic renal failure patients experiencing anxiety caused by fear of the conditions experienced. A positive self-efficacy in patients with chronic renal failure can lower the perceived anxiety when undergoing hemodialysis in order to improve the quality of life. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to describe the self-efficacy of nursing care provision to reduce anxiety of patients with chronic renal failure. The method used in this research is descriptive method with case study approach on two patients with chronic renal failure in hospitals Sanjiwani Gianyar and use guidelines observation sheet. The results were obtained through interviews and observations of the nurses in the study subjects found signs of symptoms of anxiety and formulated nursing diagnosas are anxiety. Care plan for patients with anxiety that the patient can use the new adaptive coping with self-efficacy. Implementation given in Case 1 and Case 2 by nurses have been carried out in accordance with the planned intervention that is providing self-efficacy. The evaluation results obtained is the provision of self-efficacy. The results showed no difference between the findings of researchers, other researchers temenuan and existing theories of assessment and evaluation.
