  • Ineffective coping is an inability to assess and respond to stressors and / or the inability to use existing resources to solve problems. Ineffective koping nursing care is the most important thing in the process of treating hypertensive patients. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of nursing care from assessment, nursing diagnoses, nursing orders, implementation, and nursing evaluation at Tabanan III Public Health Center, Tabanan District. This study used descriptive method with case study design on two patients who observed depth using interview technique, observation, and documentation. This study was conducted on 18, 19 and 20 April 2018. Data collection tools used were observation sheets, FDC (Functional Dimension Coping Scale) measurement sheets, ineffective koping scales based on SDKI and documentation study guides in the form of check list. The results of the study on the study found no difference with the theory, nursing diagnoses are enforced in accordance with the theory, most of the planning according to theory, implementation has been implemented consistently, and on the evaluation of the problem is resolved. Based on this study indicates that there are similarities between two patients with hypertensive disease who experience coping is not effective. It is expected to be an information material for the health service in both hospital and health center in providing hypertensive patient information by giving self awareness skill therapy.
