  • Sectio Caesarea (SC) is a surgery to give birth through an incision in the abdominal wall and uterus. Approximately 90% of postoperative infections caused by infection of the surgical wound. This study aims todescribe nursing care on Mother Post Sectio Caesarea to reduce the risk of infection in hospitals Wangaya Denpasar Dara space by using the nursing process. The method used with case study design and the research technique using observation and documentation. Results obtained in the study is not found problems such as risk of infection in the mother post sc, at the stage of nursing diagnosis infection risk is not raised in obstetrics ward and still use midwiferycare, stage of the planning the action taken in ward there are some differences with the existing theory is due to the use as a reference for all subjects that midwifery care. The planned interventions have been implemented in its entirety. But there is one implementation that is not defined in the plan that is wound care in patients post sectio caesarea. There is difference in the writing of SOAP components due to differences in the formulation of nursing diagnoses, which indirectly affects the phase of the evaluation documentation. Based on the results of this case study is expected to provide insights into the mother post sc in wound care so that mothers can show the ability to prevent the onset of infection, so avoid the signs and symptoms of infection.
