  • Patients of COPD who were hospitalized in Mangusada Hospital during the last four months of August to November amounted to 65 cases. One of the nursing problems in COPD patients is nutritional deficit. The impact of nutritional deficit in COPD patients may decrease respiratory muscle function. The type of research used is descriptive with case study design and data collection techniques using observation guidance documentation. Number of subjects are 2 documents of the same subject concerning the description of nursing care in COPD patients with nutritional deficit in Oleg Room Mangusada Hospital. The results of nursing care ranging from assessment, nursing diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. In the assessment obtained on both subjects are weight decreased more than 10% below the ideal range, decreased appetite, pale mucous membranes, serum albumin down. Nursing diagnosis used is less nutrition than body needs where there is a difference sentence with the theory of reference researchers who should be a nutritional deficit. Planning made consists of determine the nutritional status, recommend diet modification, serve food with interesting. Implementation is done nutrition management.
