- Abstract : Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (IMD) have positive impact on exclusive breastfeeding. A women on labor procces need support from her husband to achieve successful of IMD. The purpose of this community service an increasing success of early breastfeeding initiation with husband support during labor after being given health education with leaflets media. Health education is a form of this activity by targeting husbands. Implementation of this activities carried out in the village of North Dawan Klungkung in June-July 2015. The result : there is an increased knowledge of the target after being given education about husband’s support during labor using leaflets media. Conclusion : health education about husband support during childbirth using media leaflet improve knowledge targets and the success of early breastfeeding initiation. Suggestion : similar activities resumed, husband to apply the knowledge that has been gained to optimize the wife’s assistance during childbirth.
