GAMBARAN OHI-S SERTA TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN TENTANG KEBERSIHAN GIGI DAN MULUT PADA SISWA KELAS IV DAN V SDN 4 SIBANG KAJA (Study dilakukan di Desa Sibang Kaja Kecamatan Abiansemal)

- ABSTRACT Health is the most important part of human life, physically and mentally healthy. Health that needs to be considered in addition to general health is the health of teeth and mouth. The purpose of this research is to know the description of OHI-S as well as the level of knowledge about oral hygiene in grade IV and V students at SDN 4 Sibang Kaja in 2018. This type of research is descriptive research. This research was conducted at SDN 4 Sibang Kaja, Abiansemal Sub-district, Badung Regency in June 2018, with 40 respondents. Percentage of OHI-S with good criteria as much as 10%, moderate criteria as much as 77.5%, bad criteria as much as 12.5%, and average OHI-S of 2.05% with medium criteria. The results of knowledge level of dental hygiene and mouth with good category that is 35%, medium category that is 32,5%, and category less 32,5%. The average level of knowledge about oral and dental hygiene in grade IV and V students in SDN 4 Sibang Kaja is 80 in the medium category. The conclusion of this study is the description of OHI-S in grade IV and V students at SDN 4 Sibang Kaja is in the middle criteria and the level of knowledge about oral hygiene is in good category.
