  • Physical development in human’s body can change weight, height, body posture, muscles, bones and teeth. Bone that is not taken care early can cause loss. The bone density naturally decreases starting at the age of 35 years. That causes the elderly often have osteoporosis. Calcium plays a role in maintaining bone density, so bones are not easily can be porous. This research was descriptive study. The purpose of the study was to determine the level of blood calsium in elderly. This study based on Banjar Culag-Calig, Mengwitani Village Badung Regency. The study was conducted from February to April 2020. The study population were elderly who aged above 46 years. The samples were 15 people from 25% of the population. Respondents were selected by non probability technique with purposive sampling. The blood calcium level checking with O-Cresolphtalein Complexon (OCPC) method. The results showed 60% of respondents had blood calsium in normal levels, 13,3% of respondents low blood calsium levels and had 26,7% of respondents high blood calcium levels. Based on these results, it can be concluded that most elderly have blood calcium normal levels.
