GAMBARAN WANITA USIA SUBUR YANG MELAKUKAN PEMERIKSAAN INSPEKSI VISUAL ASAM ASETAT (IVA)

- Abstract : Cervical cancer is an Indonesian woman high second killer after breast cancer. Visual inspection of acetic acid is a method of cervical cancer screening using 3-5% acetic acid solution on the cervix and looking at the color changes that occur after do applying a spreads. Women of fertile age who carry out the lowest visual inspection of acetic acid in Klungkung Regency are in the Integrated Implementation Unit of the Banjarangkan II Health Center. The purpose of this study was to learn the characteristics of fertile ages woman who carried out an examination of acetic acid at the UPT. Banjarangkan II Health Center, Klungkung District. This research was a descriptive study with a cross sectional sampling design with a total sample of 101 samples. The results shows the ages percentage of fertile ages woman who did a VIA test > 35 years 74 people (73, 3%), have 47 high school educators (46.5%), work 74 people (73.3%), multipara 77 people (76.2%) and 52 people use hormonal contraception (51.2%). Thus, it can be concluded that the characteristics of women of childbearing age are mostly > 35 years old, high school educated, more workable, multiparous, and use hormonal contraception.
