  • DESCRIPTION OF NURSING CARE EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE FORREDUCING ANXIETY IN HYPERTENSIVE PATIENTS IN PUSKESMAS TABANAN III SINCE 2018 ABSTRACT Hypertension is called the silent killer because the disease is considered deadly not accompanied by early symptoms for people with hypertension. A person suffering from hypertension has anxiety due to hypertension requires a relatively long treatment, there is a risk of complications and can shorten the age. Based on research conducted shows that emotional freedom technique therapy can decrease anxiety. This study aims to determine the description of nursing care provided emotional therapy freedom technique to reduce anxiety in hypertensive patients. The type of descriptive research with case study approach on two subjects at Tabanan III Community Health Center. The results of the assessment conducted through interviews, observations and documentation on the nurses found the subjective statement of the subject said feeling confused, heart pounding hard, worry, difficulty concentrating, complaining dizziness, difficulty sleeping, objective statement of the subject looked tense, anxious, complained dizziness . Nursing diagnosis is anxiety, low self esteem factor. Intervention given is the provision of emotional freedom technique therapy. Implementation carried out for three days in 30 minutes. Evaluation results after given nursing care got the subject did not feel worried, feel calm, feel more focus, no trouble sleeping, do not complain of dizziness ansietas problems experienced by the subject is reduced. The conclusion of emotional therapy freedom technique has many benefits to reduce anxiety in hypertensive patients. Keywords: Nursing Care, Anxiety, Emotional Therapy Freedom Technique
