Perbedaan Pengetahuan Dan Keterampilan Ibu Sebelum Dengan Sesudah Diberikan Bimbingan Pijat Akupresur Pada Bayi Dengan Klasifikasi Bukan Pneumonia

- Abstract: Pneumonia is the main cause of infant mortality in the world. This condition can be started from non-pneumonia complaints such as cold cough. This study aims to determine differences in knowledge and skills of mothers before and after being given acupressure massage guidance in infants with non-pneumonia classification. This research was comparative analytic study with one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection methods used by filling out questionnaires and assessing skills using a checklist. The sampling technique using nonprobability sampling technique with the type of purposive sampling. From the 17 respondents, data knowledge was analyzed using Wilcoxon test results obtained with a median value before being given guidance that is 70 and after being given guidance that is 80 while for data skills were analyzed using paired sample t-test with the mean value before given guidance namely 19, 00 and after being given guidance that is 69.47. It was concluded that there were differences in knowledge and skills of mothers before and after being given acupressure massage guidance for infants with non-pneumonia classification with Z count of -2,109 (p value = 0.035) and t count of -28,152 (p value = 0,000).
