  • The most common dental diseases are dental caries and periodontal, because it has a high percentage and incidence rates in all around the world. Permanent teeth are susceptible because of its anatomical shape is ideal for the growth of bacteria that cause the caries. This study is aimed to identify the description of permanent dental caries in the grade V students in SDN 2 Sesetan in 2020. This study used a report on the dental and oral health care services in SDN 12 Sesetan conducted in April 2019 with 42 respondents as the secondary data source. The result of this study showed that the students who experienced a permanent dental caries before given the dental and oral health care services was 19 students with a percentage 45,24%. The average of permanent dental caries before given the dental and oral health care services was 0.85. The students who experienced a permanent dental caries after given the dental and oral health care services was 14 students with a percentage 33,33%. The average of permanent dental caries before given community the dental and oral health care services was 0.50. As the conclusion of this study, the average of the dental caries are very low.
