  • DESCRIPTION OF NURSING FOR PATIENTS NON HEMORRHAGIC STROKE WITH THE SELF-CARE DEFICIT IN OLEG WARD MANGUSADA HOSPITAL 2018 ABSTRACT Non Hemorrhagic Stroke (SNH) is a clinical syndrome that causes blood flow to the brain disrupted resulting in ischemia resulting in a lack of flow of glucose, oxygen and other food items to the brain cells. Most strokes in all patients had non hemorrhagic stroke (80%). In non hemorrhagic stroke patients usually caused by neuromuscular disorders. The most common nursing problem in patients with non-hemorrhagic stroke is self-care deficit. Based on the study of Pei et al (2016), as many as 25% - 74% of Non Hemorrhagic Stroke patients are dependent on daily activities (ADL). The deficit of self-care is a condition of inability to perform or complete self-care activities independently. This study aims to determine the description of nursing care in non hemorrhagic stroke patients with self care deficits include assessment to evaluation in space Oleg Mangusada Hospital Badung. The type of research used is descriptive research type with case study design. The research was conducted by data collection technique in the form of documentation study on patient medical record. The results showed after given nursing care for 3x24 hours, the patient's self-care deficit has not been resolved. Patients are still weak and dizzy and assisted in doing ADL. For that the role of family and nurses is very important to help patients in meeting their daily needs. Keywords: nursing care, Non Hemorrhagic Stroke, self care deficit
