  • One of the common adolescent problems experienced by female student is dysmenorrhea. A student who experiences dysmenorrhea cannot concentrate on learning because of perceived dysmenorrhea. Acupressure point sanyinjiao is non-pharmacological method that can reduce the intensity of dysmenorrhea. The purpose of this study is to determine effect of acupressure point sanyinjiao in students at SMP Negeri 6 Denpasar. This pre-experimental research uses one group pretest-posttest design. The sample used was 20 students of class VIII who experienced dysmenorrhea in SMP Negeri 6 Denpasar taken by purposive sampling. The data was collected by observing the intensity of dysmenorrhea before and after acupressure at the sanyinjiao point sheet using google forms distributed via whatsApp messenger. Data analysis by bivariate test using Wilcoxon α <0,05. The results of dysmenorrhea intensity before being given acupressure point sanyinjiao obtained a median of 4 and after being given acupressure point sanyinjiao a decrease in median with a value of 2,5 where the value of ρ = 0.000 <α 0.05.The conclusion is that there is influence of acupressure point sanyinjiao on the intensity of dysmenorrhea in students of SMP Negeri 6 Denpasar. This intervention is recommended for schools to apply in overcoming dysmenorrhea experienced by their students. Key words: student; intensity of dysmenorrheal; acupressure point sanyinjiao
